Paws N Claws Dog Day Care Services Refund Policy

At Paws N Claws, we strive to provide the best care for your pets and ensure customer satisfaction. However, we understand that situations may arise where services need to be canceled or refunded. Below is our refund policy for dog day care services.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Day Care Service Cancellations: If you need to cancel a scheduled dog day care service, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within this time frame will be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled day care service, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee will be applied, and the remaining balance may be refunded or credited towards future services.
  • No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for a scheduled day care service without prior notice, you will be charged the full service fee, and no refund will be issued.

2. Pre-Paid Packages

  • Unused Days: For customers who have purchased pre-paid day care packages, any unused days can be refunded if you decide to discontinue the service. Please note that refunds for unused days will be prorated based on the package price.
  • Partial Use: If you have used part of your pre-paid package and wish to cancel the remaining services, you can receive a refund for the unused portion, minus any discounts that were applied for package purchase.

3. Illness or Emergencies

  • Pet Illness: If your pet becomes ill and is unable to attend dog day care, please inform us as soon as possible. We will gladly reschedule the service or offer a refund for the missed days.
  • Owner Emergencies: In the case of personal emergencies where you are unable to bring your pet to day care, please contact us, and we will work with you to reschedule or issue a refund as appropriate.

4. Service Dissatisfaction

  • Customer Satisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our dog day care services, please contact us within 24 hours of the service. We will review the situation and determine if a partial or full refund is warranted. Our goal is to ensure that both you and your pet are happy with our care.

5. Non-Refundable Services

  • Late Pick-Ups: Any additional fees incurred due to late pick-up of your pet from day care are non-refundable.
  • Special Add-Ons: Fees for special add-on services (such as grooming or extra activities) completed during your pet’s stay are also non-refundable once rendered.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after a cancellation or refund request has been approved. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the service.

Medication

If your pet requires daily oral or topical medication, we will be happy to accommodate for a small fee.  For the safety of your pet, all medications must be clearly labeled in their original packaging, and accompanied by documentation from your vet that includes dosage and possible side effects.

Administration fee is as follows:  $2.50 for 1 administration, $5 for 2 or more.

Spay/Neuter

While we recommend that all pets are spayed and neutered for their health and safety, we will accept unaltered pets at an additional fee of $5 per night. 

Temperament

All pets must be friendly and okay with being handled. We do not accept aggressive pets. Any dog visiting our facility for the first time must pass a temperament test. Temperament tests take approximately two hours and must be scheduled in advance. 

Why do we require temperament tests? They allow us to see your pet in action! During their time with us, we practice leashing/unleashing, placing and removing bowls, and see how they interact with our staff and other dogs. If they don’t get along with other dogs but love people, that’s okay! We understand some pups are just more particular about their friends, and temperament testing allows us to determine whether or not they are eligible for group play.

Check-in and Check-out times

You may check-in your pet before 2 PM during regular days and hours of operation. Check-out time is before 11 AM.  

Though we are closed on Mondays, we offer an 11 AM regular check-out. If you are not on time to pick up your pet, an extra night’s fee will be charged and they will remain boarded until the next business day. 

We are closed Sundays and all legal holidays. We do not offer pickup on those days.

Pet Transportation

Pet Boarding

Going out of town for an extended period of time? We offer pet boarding services in a safe and comfortable environment. Your pet will receive plenty of love and attention while you’re away.

Pet Training

Our experienced trainers can help your pet learn new tricks, improve their behavior, and more. We offer both group classes and one-on-one training sessions.
